Willow Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 July 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Willow for using the app and website at willow-day.com. We have tried to keep them short and in plain language. If anything is unclear, email us at support@willow-day.com and we will explain.
Quick summary
- Willow is a paid subscription with a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
- You can cancel at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Everything you create in Willow stays yours. We only store and process it to run the service for you.
- Willow is a planning tool. It is not medical advice and not a treatment for any condition.
- Be kind to the service: no breaking in, no overloading, no reselling.
- Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law.
This summary is for convenience. The full terms below are what applies.
1. Who we are
Willow is operated by:
Barbara Konopka, conducting business as Barbara Konopka Usługi Informatyczne, a sole proprietorship (jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza) registered in Poland.
NIP:
[NIP]Registered address:[business address]Contact: support@willow-day.com
When these terms say "Willow", "we", "us" or "our", they mean the business above. "You" means the person using the service.
2. What Willow is
Willow is a habit and day-planning app. You tell it what matters to you, and it plans your habits and tasks into your day, around your calendar and your real life. It has no streaks and it never grades you.
Willow is a planning tool and nothing more. It is not a medical device, it does not provide medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, and it is not a diagnosis of or treatment for ADHD or any other condition. If you need medical help, please talk to a qualified professional.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Willow.
- You need a valid email address to create an account, and you must be able to receive email there. Essential messages about your account and subscription go to that address.
- Your account is for you personally. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your login. If you think someone else has access to your account, change your password and tell us.
4. Free trial
Every new subscription starts with a 14-day free trial. You provide a payment method up front, and your first charge happens only when the trial ends. Cancel any time before then and you pay nothing.
5. Subscriptions and billing
- Willow is billed as a monthly subscription, at the price and tier you choose at checkout. Current prices are always shown on the willow-day.com homepage and at checkout, including any applicable taxes.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it. If it keeps failing, your subscription lapses and access to the app is paused until billing is sorted out. Your data is never deleted because of a failed payment; resubscribing picks up exactly where you left off.
- If we change prices, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the new price applies to you. If you do not want to continue at the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.
6. Cancelling and refunds
- You can cancel any time from Settings inside Willow, which takes you to your Stripe billing portal. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- We do not normally refund the remainder of a billing period you have started, except where the law says otherwise.
- If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from the subscription within 14 days of purchasing it, without giving a reason. By starting your subscription you ask us to provide the service straight away. If you withdraw within the 14-day window, we will refund you proportionally for the time you did not use. To withdraw, email support@willow-day.com. In practice the free trial covers this window, so simply cancelling during the trial has the same effect.
7. Your content
- The habits, tasks, notes and everything else you create in Willow belong to you.
- You give us permission to store, process and back up that content, solely so we can provide the service to you. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not claim any ownership of it. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
- When your account is deleted, your content is deleted with it, as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Calendar connections
Connecting an external calendar (Google Calendar or an iCal feed) is optional. Connections are read-only: Willow reads your events to plan around them and never changes your calendar. You can disconnect at any time. We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of events coming from a third-party calendar service.
9. Fair use
Willow is built for personal day planning. You agree not to:
- use the service for anything unlawful;
- try to break into, probe or overload the service, or interfere with other people's use of it;
- scrape the service or access it with automated tools at a scale a person would not;
- resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the service;
- copy or reverse engineer the service, except where the law expressly allows it.
If an account puts the service or other users at risk, we may suspend it while we investigate. We will tell you when we do, unless the law prevents us.
10. Changes to the service
Willow is actively developed: features will improve and occasionally change. We will not remove something central to what you are paying for without telling you first. If we ever shut Willow down entirely, we will give you at least 30 days notice by email and refund any time you have paid for beyond the shutdown date.
11. Availability and disclaimers
We work hard to keep Willow fast and available, but no online service can promise to be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as available", without warranties beyond those the law requires.
Willow's scheduling suggestions are exactly that: suggestions. You remain free to change or ignore them, and you are responsible for your own decisions and commitments.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or guarantees you have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for claims arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
This limit does not apply where the law says it cannot, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, and it does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
13. Ending your account
- You can stop using Willow at any time. To delete your account and data, email support@willow-day.com and we will action it as described in the Privacy Policy.
- We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Except in serious cases, we will warn you by email first and give you a chance to respond. If we close your account without such a reason, we will refund the unused portion of what you have paid.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example when we add features or the law changes. For material changes we will give you at least 14 days notice by email or inside the app before they take effect. If you keep using Willow after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree with a change, cancel your subscription before it takes effect.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring or face proceedings in the courts of that country.
If something goes wrong, please email us first at support@willow-day.com. Nearly everything can be sorted out that way.
